Serve Tuscaloosa 2011 …with Moriah Ministries
Dates: May 25 to May 31
Cost: $150 per person
Needed: hardworking volunteers
Andy McDaniel (Chaplain for GVSU Lakers and Supersonic ) will be taking a team of relief workers to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to serve a community in great need following their terrible tornado devastation. We will be working directly with organizations in Tuscaloosa.
Our team will leave on Wednesday May 25 and return on Tuesday May 31. This week encompasses Memorial Day weekend. The cost per person is $150. Cost includes travel expense, meals, lodging and a materials fee.
We need skilled workers as well as adults of all ages and older teenagers who are willing to work hard serving with these skilled workers.
If you are not able to go but would like to participate financially, Moriah Ministries, which is a 501c3 public charity, will accept your tax deductible gifts. Your gifts will allow us to underwrite the expenses and supplies required for this project.
You can also provide trip scholarships as we have students willing to go and serve but are not in a position to pay.
Be in touch with Andy for any additional information. Call 616.881.6336, email him at andythechaplain@gmail.com or message him on his facebook page.
