Moriah in March

Posted: March 8, 2012 in Ministry News

March Madness is here!  GVSU Lakers wrapped up basketball season and a brand new GVSU team sport, Lacrosse, just celebrated their first win!  Seasons overlap and we find ourselves in constant motion with so many awesome students and athletes!

Save the Date – June 18, 2012  – for the Moriah Golf Classic at The Meadows at GVSU!  If you love golf or know someone who does, take advantage of our Earlybird registration and save $100 on a foursome.  (Offer ends April 18!)  Download your brochure here Moriah Golf Classic 2012  or view our brochure in your browser window by clicking on the images below.

Even if you do not golf, YOU can be a Moriah Ministries sponsor. Join the growing team of businesses, churches, foundations and individuals featured on our Sponsors page. Call Andy at (616)881-6336 to sponsor and help fund Moriah Ministries!

March Ministry Notes:

– Our Serve China team is busy preparing to travel July 20 – 30 to the city of Kunming. Students willing to serve are in need of scholarships (any amount for partial or $3200 for full ride). Consider supporting them as they serve.  Scholarship donations in any amount can be sent to Moriah and identified as “Serve China Scholarship”.

– Each month Supersonic packs a powerful spiritual punch.  We have been overwhelmed by the deep conversations students bring to the table.

– Football spring training begins next week

– Preparations for our Graduate Assistant program are rolling

– Sunday suppers at Chap’s/Church with Chap at City Hope Ministries are having an eternal impact.

Moriah Ministries is happening! Your gifts fund this life-changing outreach at GVSU.  (Moriah Ministries receives no funding from GVSU but is entirely funded by the community.) Keep Moriah Ministries happening.

With our eyes on the goal,

Chaplain Andy and Val McDaniel

Philippians 3: 13,14 (The Message) “Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward – to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.”
